LATEST PROJECT

Howdy All.
My latest project is this '77 Triumph Bonneville - T140 750cc.
My first kick start bike (except for the dirt bike I had in high school, that doesn't count).
I bought it off of PSYCHO a couple weeks ago who had it sittin' under a tree for a couple years. He says it was running when he parked it.. but it couldn't have been running well!  LOL
The pistons were stuck in the cylinders - engine all locked up, oil tank was cracked and falling off the bike, gas tanks full of rust, dual carbs had stuck slides (and most likely floats), fuel and oil lines are hosed, flat tire in the front, rear master cylinder inoperable, speedometer cable broke, etc. etc.
I think RUST is holding it together.
So.. here we go.
I'm working on getting it all up and running again.
Wish me luck.
This is actually going to be fun.. Until 2 weeks ago, I knew nothing of British Bikes.
We'll see.

UNION MISSION RIDE

We joined the Ambassadors for Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry on the 11th.  It was a great turnout (18) for the 1.5hour ride south of town. We ended the ride at the Union Mission in Virgina Beach VA. There we helped out with grilling/cooking and serving the men at the homeless shelter. They were very grateful for a day out of the chow-hall!
It was a good time talking and serving.

Thanks tons to the Ambassdors for letting us be a part of their yearly scheduled fund-raiser and outreach.
I didn't get any shots AT the actual men's shelter while we were serving... to busy to even pull out my camera. Join us next time if you want a real blessing. Thanks also to LURCH and PSYCHO for stepping in and helping out!

If you want to donate to the cause, visit this site.

EXTORTION 17 RIDE

The EXTORTION 17 was the name of the helicopter that crashed one year ago in Afghanistan killing 31 heroes. Many of them were fellow SEALS. We rode to HONOR and REMEMBER them and their families.

It was a great ride and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Here are some photos of the ride. We will most likely ride it again next year.  The news reported approx 1000 bikes - but i had only guessed about 500. it was amazing and fun and a chance to show we cared.
