POBOY got his wings today

We lost our beloved POBOY last night.
The long battle against cancer finally took him HOME.
He is in the presence of the KING now and most likely swapping stories with the great David, Paul, and Moses.
He always liked Peter.. how he reached out in faith.
So that is how we shall remember him.. A man of faith.

He was our Road Captain - we nearly changed his name from POBOY to GPS (as a joke) cause he never used a map and always seemed to find his way.
Well.. he took his last ride down here on planet Earth and departed to the great Highway in the Sky.

We loved you POBOY... save us a seat, we'll all be there in Heaven eventually. But not yet..

See ya on the other side,

The Great Pumpkin

LURCH (Vise President of C1) got a new motorcycle!!!
It's a 2012 Fatbob.
It's current nickname is The Great Pumpkin.
You can all see it at the Spring National Meeting - in 2 weeks! First weekend in April.
He is modifying a bit.. so I'll get some new pictures of it here so you can see it soon.
If you were curious.. he sold the Sportster (that I sold him) to another mutual friend at our church DAN the MAN .. so it's still around.. and we'll see if he (DAN) starts riding with us or at least hanging around.
Blessings to All,
ICEMAN

SPRING TUNEUP CLINIC - C1

SPRING TUNEUP CLINIC - C1

What a great turnout. The Chapter 1 Spring Tune-Up clinic went off without a hitch! We changed oil, filters and tighted bolts as needed. Looks like we are all ready for the riding season! We also discovered the 'wrong' drain plug to pull when changing the oil on a FatBoy. LOL It was a fright when only 2 or 3 tablespoons of oil came out.. but we located the right drain plug and changed Mike's oil. All is well. We also changed the gear oil. We'll change the tranny oil later... it's not due yet.
New air filter on Trey's bike and looked for the source of a small oil leak... will get back on that one later. Some guys just showed up for the friendships and chili!!! NOTE TO SELF: Always include FOOD at your events!

We downed an entire pot of chili and a whole pan of cornbread. Noone touched the 'diet' sodas. LOL
Sorry to Mikes's wife Jennifer who was the only woman to show up. She chilled and read a book.

Thanks to all who helped make this happen and also for all the guys that came out to get their bikes ready to roll!

Summer in the rear view mirror

Well guys it's officially  cold now...temps down in the 20 degree range at night. I am not a big fan of cold weather. We had a good summer and did a lot of riding, and sharing the Word with a lot of people.
As the days are shorter and the nights are colder, don't let your light for Jesus grow dim. We are to be His hands and feet to a lost and dying world. It seems we are growing and spreading to some degree. Stitch is heading out to Washington State to begin his life as a civilian, and hopefully to start a chapter out there in the future. Joker will be heading out west later this year to start his life as a civilian also and to start His chapter in Oklahoma. We have 4 men in Alabama that are interested in starting a chapter there and we have already started that process. Please keep all these folks in your prayers... and pray that God's will be done. Thats about all the news for now, so live for Jesus and let your light shine for Him....!
