C2 had a good day this past saturday, 5.12.12. Some of us attended the Lenoir County Chapter of the GHOST RIDERS MC  party at their club house. Met some new people and had some good conversations. Good home cooked fish and all the side dishes......It's all about trying to let the Love of God be seen in us no matter where we go. We don't go to judge or preach....we just want His light to shine through us and make friends, and let folks know that we love them and more importantly that God loves them. Ride in the freedom that Christ gives us and let your light shine !!!

CSMM C2 MAY MEETING

Saturday morning 5.5.12 CSMM C2 had our monthly meeting at Wheels of the Promise Biker Church in Maysville, NC.  Our event's  for this month will be to attend the Lenoir County GHOST RIDERS MC annual party on the 12th of May, next saturday. Also WOTP Biker Church will be having a Poker run on the 19th of May to help finance some repairs on their building. Everyone is welcome and invited to attend, anyone from C1 that is interested can contact D.J. for sleeping arrangements......Also we voted on Kevin to become our newest Prospect, still need a road name for him.....and we picked up two new hang arounds, Orville and Jeff. God is good and rains down His blessings on all who will live for Him. He died for you, can't you live for Him ?

Ride for the Fallen 2012

On a cool and overcast saturday morning DJ, Doc, Diesel and Kevin ( CSMM C2) headed out from New River HD to HomeTown HD in Greenville, NC. The ride was smooth and the leather felt good. This was the first time we had attended an "Honor and Remember" event. This organization gives out Honor and Remember flags to the families of fallen service members, really great group !! Everyone of us won a door prize also......yea ! Ride safe and Honor God.....

Five and Dime Ride

This ride is called Five and Dime because it routes along highway 5 and 10.. but that’s not all.
We are planning to ride from ICEMAN’s place.. down Highway 17, cross the James River Bridge, follow 17 to the Colonial Parkway.
Then thru the scenic Colonial Parkway to Highway 5 and on to Jamestown, across the James River on the ferry (did I mention I hate ferries).
We then ride down Highway 10 back to 17 and home.
It’s a wonderful ride.. and the weather should be nice.

WHERE: Meet at ICEMAN’s house for a Kickstands up at 2PM departure.
WHEN: Sunday May 13th – after church after lunch.

Spring Tune-Up Clinic Went GREAT

Fun was had by all.
Guys started showing up around 10:30AM and didn't leave until 3:30PM... we were fixing rear suspension, changing oils, replacing filters, tightening spokes, checking primary oil and chain tension, filling tires.. all afternoon.
It was so fun meeting new guys and talking 'shop' most of the day.. there were even a few hunting stories tossed in for good measure!
Thanks to LURCH and PSYCHO for helping out with everything.
Now the bikes are all ready to roll!!!

Tail of the Dragon Ride - 2012

OK.. anyone up for an awesome adventure.
Chapter 1 is going to ride the Tail of the Dragon - Deal's Gap US 129.... 318 curves in 11 miles!!!

Kickstands up at ICEMAN's at 6AM on Friday June 1st... we will ride (approx 10 hours) down to Robinsville NC.. stay the evening in a hotel.  On June 2nd, we are going to wake, eat a nice breakfast.. then RIDE the Tail of the Dragon!  The loop we are going on takes approx 3 hours and then it's chill out time.  Chilling will take place OFF the bikes because it's 10 hours back to Virginia on Sunday.. We relax and stay a second night at the hotel and then it's Kickstands up at 6AM!
