EXTORTION 17 RIDE

The EXTORTION 17 was the name of the helicopter that crashed one year ago in Afghanistan killing 31 heroes. Many of them were fellow SEALS. We rode to HONOR and REMEMBER them and their families.

It was a great ride and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Here are some photos of the ride. We will most likely ride it again next year.  The news reported approx 1000 bikes - but i had only guessed about 500. it was amazing and fun and a chance to show we cared.

Tail of the Dragon - June 2012

1500 miles - what an awesome trip. We (ICEMAN AND LURCH) slayed the Dragon and also rode along the Cherohala Skyway. It was beautiful and one of the best motorcycle trips iv'e ever been on! This was such a great trip.. i think I will get it on the calendar for next year... so be watching for it!  First week in June sounds good.. we'll see.

WOTP POKER RUN AND RIVER MINISTRIES BIKE BLESSING

It was another cool saturday morning and the SOLDIERS were once again on the roll. We made it to The Wheels of the Promise Biker Church around 10 am for registration and directions for the Poker run. DJ and Janie, Diesel, Kevin, Orval and Jeff were there to represent C2 on the run. had a good ride of about an hour and a half and ended back at the Church for burgers and dogs. Had some good music from a live band, whose name eludes me at the moment.
Then some of us headed to the Rivers Ministries in Jacksonville for their 2nd annual blessing of the bikes.

More food when we got there......Riding with us can cause weight gain !!! Met a lot of new people and made some new friends. Mostly sport bike clubs, but good people all around. We plan on getting involved with the planning and content of this event next year, as we were invited to by Pastor Mike. Chainsaw caught up with us and made the ride down to J-ville with us also. It was a good day over all...and I think we brought some of God's light to different people than we normally do. Get out of your comfort zone and be different!!!

 

 

So when you are out riding this year and you see a patch you are not familiar with go up and introduce your self...and if the opportunity presents it self...introduce them to Jesus.

C1 - Colonial Parkway Ride (Five and Dime)

C1 had a great ride on Mother's Day thru beautiful Colonial Williamsburg (Virginia) area on the Colonial Parkway.  The sky was partly overcast and light breeze of 5MPH... perfect day for riding.  We rode for 4 1/2 hours and only went 113miles... which means we stopped a lot along the way to enjoy the scenery. Here are a few shots of the trip.. it was beautiful.

C2 had a good day this past saturday, 5.12.12. Some of us attended the Lenoir County Chapter of the GHOST RIDERS MC  party at their club house. Met some new people and had some good conversations. Good home cooked fish and all the side dishes......It's all about trying to let the Love of God be seen in us no matter where we go. We don't go to judge or preach....we just want His light to shine through us and make friends, and let folks know that we love them and more importantly that God loves them. Ride in the freedom that Christ gives us and let your light shine !!!

CSMM C2 MAY MEETING

Saturday morning 5.5.12 CSMM C2 had our monthly meeting at Wheels of the Promise Biker Church in Maysville, NC.  Our event's  for this month will be to attend the Lenoir County GHOST RIDERS MC annual party on the 12th of May, next saturday. Also WOTP Biker Church will be having a Poker run on the 19th of May to help finance some repairs on their building. Everyone is welcome and invited to attend, anyone from C1 that is interested can contact D.J. for sleeping arrangements......Also we voted on Kevin to become our newest Prospect, still need a road name for him.....and we picked up two new hang arounds, Orville and Jeff. God is good and rains down His blessings on all who will live for Him. He died for you, can't you live for Him ?
